Best Places to Study
This week for the blog, I wanted to share some of my favorite places to study in Madrid and near the program center!
Whenever I have a group project or a pressing deadline, I love to work at La Bicicleta. As an avid avocado eater, I am a big fan of their avocado toast, but have also grown to love their Vanilla Chai Latte.

This café is near the Quevedo metro stop and is a quick walk from the program center. The ambiance is very relaxed and I enjoy sketching for my Sketchbook class here.

I discovered this hole-in-the-wall café while walking through my neighborhood, La Latina, during the first few weeks of class. While they do not play music, the natural light is incredible. My favorite thing to order is the peanut butter toast with strawberries, bananas & chia seeds.
Big shoutout to Genesis for this recommendation! La Colectiva Café has ample study space with outlets, which is perfect for a long study session. I ordered the daily menu during my last visit and it was amazing!

- The room across from Chavela’s office
I recognize that this is not a café, but this room is an underrated place to do work in the program center. The room is always quiet and if Chavela is not meeting with anyone, you can ask her grammar questions!
