My internship was a phenomenal way to enrich my experience in Spain. Without being too time-consuming, it allowed me to gain a better understanding of the financial services industry, consolidate my Spanish, add a fabulous experience to my resume, and make lifelong business connections. Additionally, I think that interning in Spain allowed me to use my time wisely, and instead of solely spending time with American students, I was able to use my time speaking with native Spanish speakers, learning business culture in Spain, and learning more about financial markets. Matthew Jourlait, Tufts. Spring 2020

Through my internship at Patrivalor, I was able to develop my Spanish language skills and cultural competency. The projects I did enabled me to get a deeper understanding of the asset management industry and social media marketing for businesses. I was able to experience the workplace environment and office culture of a Spanish company as well as the Bloomberg offices in Madrid. I was able to develop professional, academic, and intercultural skills that will serve me in my future endeavors. Overall, my experience at Patrivalor was incredibly beneficial to my time in Spain. Elena Chavez, Tufts. Spring 2020

This internship at Sabadell has taught me a lot about the Wealth Management Department in a bank. I was given a project for the semester about finances of international users and it has been interesting through its progression. In addition, the mentor of the internship, David Infantes, is very knowledgeable and Friendly. Emily Hirsch, Skidmore. Fall 2019
The Banco Sabadell internship with David Infantes was the perfect opportunity to boost my resume, enhance my interpersonal skills, further my knowledge of the business world, and gain a better understanding of Spanish business culture. My favorite aspect about the internship was that I was able to learn firsthand how a globally renowned bank operates on both a domestic and international scale. Kevin Ha, Skidmore. Spring 2020
My coworkers were the best part of my abroad experience by far. The culture at the company was very welcoming and social, and on my first day the entire company was super welcoming towards me. This experience has definitely influenced me to pursue a career in the solar sector. Aidan Anthony, Tufts. Spring 2020.
