Oscar Pérez-Reyes, PhD. Course designed for students at any level of Spanish who would like capitalize on their time in Madrid and advance their competencies in Spanish by exploring their identities through creative expression in Spain. Course directed toward students who are already creative writers, and for those for those who have little or no experience in creative writing and would like to start now. In addition to gaining key wordsmithing tools, participants will discover their own artistic microcosm through individual and group exercises, guided by a multidisciplinary perspective that includes prose, literature, poetry, music, painting and photography. Students’ critical and creative exploration of their own identities will be featured throughout the course.
