Twisted Spain: Toward a Queer, Antiracist Culture

Darío Gael Blanco de Barreda, MA. Course praxis aims to be as queer and antiracist as its subject matter: that is, to “everyday-ize” change and assume the presence and impact of movement, contradiction, the processes of decolonization and “queerification” of spaces, strategies of resistance, the construction of realities and perpetual overflows. Course proposes a series of themes and approaches that transcend intercultural comparison and academic discipline, integrating the use of Spanish media, and highlighting streaming platforms and social media networks, which are vital generators of culture and knowledge in today’s world.
